On Saturday the 21 st of June 2025 we will be running the 4th Annual Mitchell
Power Memorial Quick Shear in Bombala, New South Wales. We are organising another quick shear in memory of Mitch and what he spent every day doing.

With your sponsorship, we would love to make this event as big as possible, attracting people from all over the country. Last year, the Mitchell Power Memorial Quick Shear attracted a crowd of over 400 people, and 60 shearers. Many local businesses benefited financially from our event as there were hundreds of tourists in town for the Quick Shear.

We would like to use this event to focus on mental health in the shearing industry
and encourage young rural men just like Mitch to speak up if they aren't coping
with day-to-day challenges. The Last 3 years proceeds of our events have helped a local families in need, funded Mental Health awareness evenings in Bombala, Standby, Are You Bogged Mate, Monaro Family Support and Rural Aid.

This year’s event, we will be donating to sHedway and we will also be
putting funds into running a learners shearing school locally, something I
am sure Mitch would be so proud of, helping young people learn a skill he loved so much.
